Motorola Channel Announcement.
Wanted to add voice announcement to XTS5000 series radio.
- Recorded audio on phone.- Transferred .wav files to laptop.- Used Audacity, trimmed .wav files to desired length.

ffmpeg to convert .wav file
Run from command prompt: ffmpeg -i inwavfile.wav -acodec pcm_s161e -ac 1 -ar 8000 outwavfile.wav
Using CPS, 8bit 16khz .wav files can be compressed into .mvf format and added to codeplug.
Radio MUST be connected to CPS for successfully compression of .wav file(s)
